Should the Law dictate Religion? Should Religion dictate Law?  The display of Religion in recent politics has raised these questions for Americans concerned about our current elections as well as our schools’ curriculums, medical care, climate issues, and more. Explore the connection of Faith and Politics using conversation, the book Taking America Back for God: Christian Nationalism in the United States (Whitehead and Perry; Oxford University Press), Biblical texts and statements of various faith traditions.  When do we cross the line?

This colloquy is facilitated by Kim Lengert, who is an ordained Pastor, a Lawyer, and a Republican. Kim is a recognized speaker for both legal education and community organizations, the author of several religious educational studies, worship materials and legal continuing educational materials.
